I love characters! I made a fillable PDF character sheet (see Materials) so we could update and potentially share them with each other.

Feel free to use this thread to share your character sheet and/or share a little bit about your character and their story.

To embed a character sheet from your Google Drive, paste the following shortcode:
replacing the “XXX” in the URL with the ridiculous combination of letters and numbers in your Google Drive file’s URL, and the second XXX with the title of your choice.

    Example:

I’ll be playing Nysteld now that Ts’uviti has decided to apprentice under Kalousk. Here’s the new character sheet as I rolled it up (check out that height! and those brainz!):

I had fun rolling up this character. He would be fun to play, I think!

I love everyone’s characters! I had fun rolling this one up as well. : )

@evan, Nak-Shi is amazing! I love that backstory about having traversed the spirit realm to wake again in the plane of the living with the smells and sights of death all around. Such an awesome concept for a shaman.

Even though they’re both wizards with the same specialization (ish), it’s so cool to see how different and distinct Nysteld and Nak-Shi feel as characters. Reading this character sheet is inspiring.

The detailed character description for Nysteld didn’t have the correct permissions above, and wasn’t readable at that size, so here’s a link to that information, if anyone’s interested.

Not even gonna lie to you. I screeched one long screech when I saw all this. This is beyond awesome. I like all the detail, all the description. Especially all the visual description of how she looks and moves! Yesssss. I’m a very visual person, and it really helps to have those examples, those little vignettes that help bring a character into focus. Little hints of something more. I had actually looked up the ‘Sound of my Voice’ character with Evan when I was home for lunch earlier today, and then when I saw you had organized everything into one neat place, it just pleased me so much. SEHR GUT.  It’s awesome to have this kind of detail to work off of- especially for drawing, and for adding little details to interactions, and getting a feel for how my character would feel about your character in general, and how she (Lem) would therefore respond or initiate interactions. I love the eye thing- how people don’t know which one to look into. I’m totally bringing that into action next time. And her extensive morning ritual is great! I want to see everyone’s morning rituals! That is so descriptive of a character’s personality. It’s just super cool and I am just super pleased right now. I love Nysteld and I’m feeling pumped about where this is going to go next.

Thank you! 😀 There’s still a lot I need to flesh out in my approach to roleplaying her (it’s hard RPing someone who’s smarter and more collected than I am, ha!) but I am so incredibly excited that she exists now and that she’s a part of our adventure.

Okay, I’ve caught the bug. Rolling these characters was a lot of fun. @blizack, rolling characters back-to-back like this reminded me of our Traveler chargen days a bit. I would have fun playing either of these characters, but members should feel free to adopt them for their own gameplay too.

Here’s Lyler Bolden, an interesting human survivalist:

And I also rolled a pretty wild ghost character, named Staalis, but he is more commonly known as “The Black Cat.”

@mountaintree, I’m loving these characters. Especially the Black Cat, and the antagonistic Viantu was really descriptive and probably a lot of fun to play with… Nice nice nice. Maybe we will meet a few of these people down the line, eh?

Both of these characters are awesome. I really appreciate that their respective pale stone encounters became a dynamic part of their story. I’m inspired to think more about how encountering pale stone and being connected or crippingly afraid of the substance has changed the life and trajectory of each of my characters.

This is Bubby, a Human Survivalist who specializes in foraging. I’d love to play him at some point. He’s got a bushy beard and missing teeth! And he has a strong, dirty, nutty odor (which plays a part in his CHA modifier being -4).

Bubby’s charisma is 4 because he’s a Salvation Army bell ringer!

Oh my god. Yes. The bell has a specific purpose that I’m looking forward to playing out sosososo much. 😀

Another characteristic: when you say something Bubby thinks is obvious, he’ll say ‘Is my name Bubby Nutgrinder?’ And crack his knee.

Samtori has decided to (temporarily?) retire from adventuring:

Honoring characters whose adventures have concluded

In the event he becomes involved in a future campaign, here’s his character sheet:

@the_briny, Thank you so much! Nysteld is awesome too. I really like the concept of an order, and adhering to a code and its tenets.

I waited to read Nysteld’s character sheet until after I was basically finished with Nak-Shi’s, and I love how unique they both are too! There’s an open-mindedness in Augur’s Lore towards characters and leveling that allows for so much creativity and diversity. I can’t wait until our next session for some sweet character interaction!
