Beta 2.0 is Here

It’s taken quite the overhaul, but our second beta version is ready to go! There are numerous updates and fixes in this latest beta version that reflect the great conversations we’ve been having regarding typos, mechanics, balance, nuance, and more. I’ve also added the majority of the artwork that we’d like to feature in the book. The full changelog is noted below.

As with the last beta version, please dig into this rulebook and give us your feedback! Leave your comments in the forums and let us know if there is any issue that needs to be addressed.

The critical changes in this beta version with regard to mechanics have to do with the character profession “Combat Training” scores (which were overpowered in the previous beta version), profession time commitments, and equipment changes (namely weapons statistics, weights, and supplies). I also made some changes to the order and structure of the character sheet to make it more clear. Log in, visit the downloads section, and check out the rulebook and character sheet, as well as a new GM character sheet (to aid GMs in navigating NPCs and encounters) and a hi-res map of the Empire!
